The fresh yellow of a rapeseed field you recognize from far away. In the Netherlands it is often 'just' weed swaying lively on the roadside. But in France you often encounter whole fields that liven up the landscape as yellow marking stripes.

Het frisse geel van koolzaad dat herken je uit duizenden. In Nederland zie je het vooral als onkruid vrolijk wuivend in onze niet gemaaide bermen. Maar in Frankrijk vind je vaak hele velden vol die als gele markering het landschap onderstrepen. Persoonlijk hou ik zelfs nog meer van deze lichtgevende kleur geel dan van de warm-gele velden bezaaid met zonnebloemen die natuurlijk des te bekender zijn in het Franse landschap.
